Georgia adoption: breaking out of homelessness and foster care

Adoption in Georgia is one way to give hope to those without parents and families of their own. Parents or single adults seeking a child are sometimes involved in adoption. One Florida orphan teen broke this trend and put his adoption into motion on his own. This is one heartwarming story of a teen trying to find a family for himself and help others who do not have their own home find families as well.

A 15-year-old orphan had been born while his mother was in jail. Since then he had not had a home to call his own and had spent his life in orphan homes. This teen made the news when he went to a church one Sunday and attempted to find a family for himself. He did not ask for much, just someone who would take care of him.

The orphan had tried to find his biological mother before seeking another family, but he found that she had passed away. However, this did not discourage him from finding his own family. After his courageous attempt to locate an adoptive family, one couple decided to take the boy on vacation with them. Although he is in the adoption process, the teen is still speaking on behalf of other orphans in foster care.

While this story has an encouraging ending, Georgia is simply one state in the United States that is filled with children who are homeless or in foster care. The numbers would continue to climb if it was not for the process of adoption. Children across the world have found new hope and life through adoption. This particular orphan's story exhibits the immense importance and value of this process.
