Georgia adoption can protect children from dangerous situations

Adopting a child is something considered by many individuals, couples and families. Couples who find themselves unable to have children of their own, families who want more children or individuals looking to make a difference in a child's life may find adoption to be a way that they can change both their lives and the life of a child. Georgia families who go through the adoption process are even often the ones to take a child out of a dangerous situation.

Three siblings, a 7-year-old girl, a 5-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, were filled with joy after being adopted by the single mother who had fostered them for several years. They now have two older brothers and a home to call their own. However, life has not always been so happy for these children. The children's biological mother is accused of killing their 2-year-old little sister and is awaiting trial.

This tragic situation led these children to be placed in the foster care system. After 3 years of being the foster parent to the 2 younger children, the 51-year-old woman became the mother of all three survivors. The experience has been extremely trying on everyone involved, considering the tragic event that led to the adoption. Finally, the adoption of these children provides the most joyful ending that this family could imagine.

The adoption of these three children drastically changed their lives. It took them out of a dangerous home, into foster care and now to having a forever home with their new mother. Georgia residents interested in adopting a child can look internationally or domestically. Regardless of where the child was born, the adoption process can completely change both the child's life and the lives of his or her adoptive parents.
